A little bit about me..

Since I was a child, I have been an animal and art enthusiast, and so naturally, I have combined the two passions! I adored the cats and guinea pigs I grew up with and still love every opportune moment to pet an animal! I struggled at school academically due to my Dyslexia however, I have always excelled at art throughout education. Running my own art business enables me to serve the community through my art and I love how happy it makes my customers.

Verity Petraits originated from my home during the Covid-19 Pandemic. I had just graduated from my Master’s Degree in Fine Art from the University of Brighton; the lockdowns helped me to reassess what I wanted to achieve in life and that was to just to paint! I discovered watercolours at home because I wanted to pass the time, and the process of using them was very cathartic for me. Since then, I have gained a great passion for watercolour painting and hope to spread the joy that it’s given me.
